ZChains (ZCD) is a Layer 1 blockchain using a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. It's EVM-compatible, facilitating communication and asset transfers (ERC-20, ERC-721) across various blockchain networks via a centralized bridge. ZChains tackles scalability challenges and complex inter-blockchain asset transfers, offering an efficient architecture for dApps. Its goal is to onboard diverse decentralized applications, enabling their expansion beyond their native blockchains.

ZCD is the native token of the ZChains ecosystem, serving several key functions. It is utilized for paying transaction (gas) fees within the network and can be staked to support network operations and earn rewards. ZCD holders also receive block rewards. Beyond its functional utility, ZCD acts as a tradable asset and a store of value. Additionally, holders may benefit from discounted trading fees when using ZCD on associated platforms.

The total and maximum supply of ZCD is capped at 15 billion tokens. The distribution is planned as follows: 10 billion ZCD (66.67%) are allocated for liquidity on centralized exchanges to facilitate trading. 2 billion ZCD (13.33%) are designated for marketing, ecosystem growth, and community initiatives. Another 2 billion ZCD (13.33%) are reserved for the team, subject to a 12-month lock-up followed by linear vesting over 60 months. Finally, 1 billion ZCD (6.67%) is for the Foundation's governance and long-term initiatives.

ZChains (ZCD) officially launched in 2024, with its mainnet and the ZCD token going live in July. ZCD first listed on a major exchange on July 18, 2024. It is currently available for trading on various centralized exchanges, including LBank, and can also be acquired on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) such as Zwap.
