Vision (VSN) is a digital asset designed as the utility and governance token for Bitpanda's regulated Web3 ecosystem. Its primary goal is to bridge traditional finance with decentralized applications by offering a compliant infrastructure for users and institutions. Vision aims to address the fragmented nature of Web3 access by providing a regulated gateway. The VSN token was created through the strategic merger of Bitpanda Ecosystem Token (BEST) and Pantos (PAN) to form a single, unified token. It is intended to power Bitpanda's Web3 product suite, which includes a Wallet, Protocol, Chain, and Launchpad, with the objective of simplifying the ecosystem and consolidating its community. Built as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, VSN facilitates cross-chain functionality through its Vision Protocol, which acts as a meta-aggregator for liquidity across various networks such as Arbitrum. An upcoming development, the Vision Chain, is slated for 2026. It will function as an Ethereum Layer 2 solution, optimized for the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) and incorporating zero-knowledge proofs to ensure compliance. The utility of the VSN token encompasses staking rewards and governance voting, allowing holders to influence protocol upgrades. Token holders can participate in governance by voting on key aspects like emission strategies, fee structures, and treasury allocations through on-chain proposals. The Vision Web3 Foundation, an independent entity based in Zug, Switzerland, is responsible for the issuance, management, and governance of the VSN token. This foundation ensures that the token's evolution is community-driven and maintains compliance standards. The project seeks to enhance the accessibility, transparency, and rewards within Web3 by integrating regulatory safeguards into its infrastructure. Vision is positioned as a groundbreaking digital asset that fosters a compliant and interoperable Web3 infrastructure across Europe and beyond, blending institutional trust with decentralized innovation. Initial product integrations include the Vision Protocol for cross-chain swaps, the Vision Chain for tokenized real-world assets, the Bitpanda DeFi Wallet, and a launchpad for curated crypto projects.
