Resister (RSTR) is a decentralized ecosystem that functions as a dual-purpose protocol. It serves as the foundation for the "It Remains" media franchise, encompassing books, augmented reality (AR), and gaming, while simultaneously operating as a DeFi platform. The RSTR token acts as the core utility and governance asset within this ecosystem. RSTR is the standard liquid utility token used for trading and interacting with various ecosystem features. In contrast, veRSTR (vote-escrowed RSTR) is a non-transferable version of the token obtained by locking liquid RSTR for a set period. Holding veRSTR represents a user's voting power within the protocol's governance system. This allows participants to influence DAO decisions and determine the distribution of protocol emissions, separating immediate liquidity from long-term platform management.

The Resister ecosystem features a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin pegged to the USD. A core component of this system is the Stability Pool, where users can deposit these stablecoins to ensure the protocol's health. By participating, users absorb debt from liquidated positions and receive rewards in the form of collateral and governance tokens. It is important to note that these rewards must be manually claimed through the official dApp as they do not auto-compound.

To stake RSTR, users connect a compatible Web3 wallet, such as the LBank Wallet, to the protocol's official dApp and deposit assets into the Stability Pool. Stakers earn rewards derived from liquidation events and protocol incentives. While these rewards can be variable based on market activity and volatility, they provide a way for users to earn a share of protocol emissions while supporting the decentralized infrastructure of the media franchise and financial platform.
