Rails is a fully regulated derivatives & trading infrastructure company.
We are the compliant backend that fintechs, brokerages, and institutions plug into to offer crypto derivatives, without building it themselves.
The Rails trading platformRails is a crypto perpetual-futures trading platform that combines centralized order-matching with on-chain custody of user funds.
The platform uses a hybrid architecture: orders are processed via a centralized matching engine designed for high speed, while funds are held in audited smart contracts on-chain, enabling users to retain custody.
Transactions are cryptographically aggregated and posted on‐chain in a Merkle tree structure, which enables users to independently verify their trades via an on-chain explorer, while preserving privacy.
Rails is built on the Ink Network (a Layer-2 blockchain) and emphasizes three core attributes: transparency, speed, and security.
Key features include:
- Sub-millisecond order matching via the centralized engine.
- On-chain custody of user assets through smart contracts that track deposits, withdrawals and fees.
- Verifiable transaction history, enabling users to audit the system.
In Q2 2026, Rails will be deploying institutional-grade vaults on the Stellar blockchain to provide the deep liquidity necessary to scale with institutional adoption. Options Trading is also on the product roadmap for Q2 to expand our product suite.
Rails has completed funding rounds (including a $14 million raise in 2025) and is backed by investors such as Kraken, Slow Ventures, and CMCC Global.
