Unlike traditional streaming platforms, it integrates content hosting, transcoding, and delivery into a decentralized ecosystem. This structure is designed to prevent the censorship and demonetization common on centralized platforms. It combines streaming, gaming, and community governance, allowing users to consume content and creators to share their work without interference from centralized intermediaries.

Yes, the DeHub team is fully public and transparent. The project is led by founders with significant experience in the media industry, specifically from UK-based TikTok partner agencies. To build further trust, DeHub is an SEC-registered entity in the Philippines. On the technical side, DeHub's smart contracts have been audited by CertiK, a leading blockchain security firm, ensuring the protocol meets high safety standards for its users.

The DHB token is the core utility asset of the ecosystem, functioning like internal credits for entertainment. It is used to pay for premium content, vote on governance proposals regarding content funding, and unlock token-gated features. The protocol also features a "Buyback and Burn" mechanism where profits are used to purchase DHB tokens. These are then redistributed to reward stakers or sent to a burn address to reduce the total supply over time.

Users can join the "DeHub Token Club" by holding at least 10,000 DHB tokens or a designated partner NFT in their connected wallet. Membership provides several exclusive benefits, including access to restricted premium content and "Watch-to-Earn" rewards. Additionally, club members gain access to "Phygital" marketplace drops, which offer unique items that bridge the gap between physical goods and digital ownership.

DeHub migrated from the Ethereum Mainnet to Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 solution, to significantly lower gas fees and improve transaction speeds for gaming and streaming. In line with its commitment to decentralization, the project transitioned away from several centralized exchanges to focus on on-chain liquidity. Currently, DHB can be acquired primarily through Uniswap V3 on the Base network, emphasizing a "DEX-first" approach for the community.
