Avaxtars is a browser-based idle science fiction game built on the Avalanche blockchain. Launched in early 2021, it is recognized as one of the first play to earn projects on the Avalanche network. Gen1 Avaxtars are the original set of digitally generated avatars that serve as the foundation of the game. It is also earned as a reward for participating in game activities such as completing missions and quests. In addition to the main token, the ecosystem utilizes supportive tokens like Digital Genetic Code or DGC and ENXT. These tokens play specific roles in the development of characters and the success of missions. The gameplay focuses on an idle mechanic where players send their equipped Avaxtars on quests to gain experience, reach new levels, and earn loot boxes. The roadmap for the project includes expanded features such as player versus player matches, guild systems, and large scale blockchain wars within a multichain metaverse environment. By leveraging the Avalanche network, Avaxtars aims to provide a gaming experience with high throughput and low transaction costs.
