Xena Finance is a decentralized perpetual exchange built on the Base network. It is distinct from social mining projects that focus on free minting mechanisms. While they share the "XEN" ticker, Xena Finance provides a professional trading environment for perpetual contracts. The project operates as an independent entity with its own ecosystem, tokenomics, and utility specifically designed for decentralized finance (DeFi) participants.

XEN is the primary utility and reward token of the platform, earned through activities like providing liquidity to the Xena Liquidity Pool (XLP) or participating in launch phases. In contrast, xXEN is the governance token of the protocol. Users can obtain xXEN by converting their XEN tokens at a 1:1 ratio. Holding xXEN allows users to participate in the Xena DAO, influence protocol decisions, and earn additional rewards. This dual-token system separates transactional utility from long-term governance.

Xena Finance is a decentralized, KYC-free platform that prioritizes user privacy and transparency. It operates on a non-custodial basis, meaning users maintain full control of their assets at all times. To interact with the exchange, traders connect their self-custody wallets directly to the decentralized application. All trades are executed via smart contracts on the Base network, ensuring that users do not need to submit personal identification to access perpetual trading features.

The Xena Liquidity Pool (XLP) serves as a multi-asset pool that acts as the counterparty for traders on the platform. It supports various assets such as ETH and USDC. Liquidity providers deposit these assets into the pool to receive XLP tokens. In exchange for providing liquidity, providers earn a share of the trading fees generated by the platform along with XEN rewards. The pool's value and rewards are influenced by a dynamic fee model based on asset utilization.

Users can acquire XEN tokens through several methods within the ecosystem. Primary methods include providing liquidity to the XLP pool, staking supported LP tokens, or participating in specific platform launch phases. Additionally, XEN can be traded on LBank and other supported decentralized exchanges. Once acquired, XEN can be used for utility within the platform or converted into xXEN for governance participation and additional rewards.

Xena Finance emphasizes security through open-source smart contracts and a decentralized architecture designed to mitigate central points of failure. The protocol is built to operate without administrative keys that could compromise user funds.
