The issuer, VNX Commodities AG, is a registered Trustworthy Technology (TT) Service Provider licensed by the Financial Market Authority (FMA) of Liechtenstein under the national Blockchain Act. Furthermore, the project is designed to be MiCA-ready, ensuring compliance with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation. This positioning makes it a regulated European alternative to many offshore or USD-denominated stablecoins.

While VEUR is pegged to the Euro, its collateral consists of gold. To manage this, the issuer actively monitors and adjusts the collateralization ratio. According to project documentation, the reserves are managed to ensure that the Euro-denominated value of the physical gold always covers the total supply of issued VEUR tokens.
