The VIBE IDO was scheduled for January 9, 2025, and participation is possible through three launchpad platforms: VibrantX Finance, LBank Launchpad (replacing Cellana Finance), and MoveGPT. Interested users need to prepare payment in supported tokens to join, and should follow each platform's specific registration and purchasing procedures. The IDO provides an accessible way for the community to acquire VIBE tokens early, engage with the project, and support its ecosystem development.

VIBE’s IDO involved a token price fixed at a specific rate, with a total supply of 1 billion VIBE tokens on the Aptos network. The initial circulating supply was approximately 108.5 million VIBE tokens. Payment methods accepted included APT and USDT, ensuring convenience for participants. This setup was designed to offer fair token distribution, allowing community members and investors to acquire VIBE tokens through decentralized launchpads, facilitating broad access and early engagement with the VibrantX ecosystem.

Tokens acquired during the IDO become claimable starting from the Token Generation Event (TGE), which took place on January 16, 2025. For airdrop recipients, tokens are distributed based on a vesting schedule that promotes long-term commitment. This structure ensures that token holders can access their tokens shortly after the TGE while encouraging sustained participation in VibrantX by releasing subsequent tokens progressively over a designated timeline.

IDO tokens are vested with 50% unlocked immediately at TGE and the remaining 50% unlocked three months later, encouraging commitment and reducing immediate sell pressure. For airdrop recipients, 10% of tokens unlock at TGE, followed by a six-month cliff period with no unlocks. Subsequently, 15% of tokens vest every three months. This layered vesting model balances short-term access with long-term engagement, rewarding dedicated users and ambassadors while supporting the token’s ecological and economic stability.

VIBE token utilities include empowering community participation, granting exclusive benefits to holders and stakers such as boosted rewards and early access to new features. Token holders can also engage in governance processes, shaping the platform’s development and future decisions. Additionally, users can stake VIBE tokens on the platform to earn rewards, fostering a vibrant, incentivized community while maximizing yield opportunities within VibrantX’s DeFi environment.

For the VIBE airdrop, 6% of the total token supply is allocated across two seasonal distributions, rewarding early and active users, ambassadors, and loyal community members. Eligibility is based on accumulated activity points earned through actions such as lending, liquidity provision, staking, and using multiplier features. A snapshot to determine participants was taken on December 25, 2024, ensuring that engaged users who contributed meaningfully to the platform’s growth are fairly rewarded with airdropped VIBE tokens.
