Token holders can vote on various protocol parameters, such as the types of assets accepted as collateral, the fee structures for minting or redeeming stablecoins, and the distribution of incentives. The project emphasizes a community driven approach, with a significant portion of the token supply intended for distribution to its users and ecosystem participants. To maintain the stability of the system, Vesta Finance utilizes a mechanism known as the Stability Pool. This pool acts as a first line of defense against insolvency. Users can deposit VST into this pool to help facilitate the liquidation of under collateralized vaults. In exchange for providing this stability, participants can receive rewards and a portion of the liquidated collateral. This ensures that the VST stablecoin remains fully backed and secure even during periods of market volatility. Beyond its initial launch on Arbitrum, Vesta Finance has expressed intentions to expand its reach to other ecosystems, including the Near network. The project aims to become a major liquidity hub across multiple chains, focusing on providing a seamless experience for users looking to maximize the utility of their digital assets.
