Upheaval Finance operates a dual-token ecosystem consisting of UPHL and PUP. UPHL serves as the native governance and utility token, primarily used for protocol voting via the veUPHL model and as a reward for long-term participants. PUP is a community-driven fair launch token that is deeply integrated into the platform. The protocol supports PUP by using a vast majority of specific trading fees for buybacks through its internal assistance fund to maintain ecosystem stability.

The Season 2 Points Program incentivizes active participation across several categories. Points are distributed daily to liquidity providers using active ranges on the V3 DEX and to traders based on the fees they generate. Additionally, spot holders of UPHL and PUP tokens receive a portion of daily points. Participants can also utilize referral codes to gain a percentage-based boost to their total point accumulation.

Security is managed through multiple layers of verification. The protocol utilizes an AMM codebase based on battle-tested industry standards to ensure stability. For rigorous oversight, the project is partnered with BlockSec for security audits. Furthermore, all smart contracts are verified and fully open-sourced, allowing the community to monitor on-chain activity and ensuring transparency across the HyperEVM layer.

The team formally debunked malicious rumors, clarifying that previous volatility was linked to their decision to remain community-owned by refusing high marketing fees and specific angel investments. To demonstrate their long-term commitment, the team holds zero team-allocated tokens, and any excess supply from early phases has been burned, ensuring the protocol remains focused on its users.

The UAF is a smart contract designed to provide long-term sustainability for the protocol. It collects protocol-generated fees to facilitate market buybacks of both PUP and UPHL tokens. By removing tokens from circulation during periods of high volume, the UAF helps establish a rising floor for the ecosystem. It also serves as a resource for community-voted initiatives and general ecosystem growth.

Users can move funds to the platform by bridging supported assets like USDC from external compatible chains to their network account. Once the assets are on the main network, users utilize the internal transfer function to move assets to the HyperEVM layer. This process enables full interaction with the Upheaval Finance decentralized exchange and its various liquidity provision features.
