Unmarshal is a multi-chain Web3 data indexing network designed to transform raw, unstructured blockchain data into a structured, searchable format. By providing easy-to-integrate APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets, it acts as a critical infrastructure layer for developers building decentralized applications (dApps). It eliminates the technical complexity of querying multiple blockchains individually, allowing developers to focus on user experience while accessing rich data such as DeFi transactions, NFT metadata, and cross-chain balances across over 50 supported chains.

Unmarshal distinguishes itself by being a "chain-agnostic" solution with a focus on ease of use through no-code tools. Unlike some indexing services that require complex manual configurations, Unmarshal offers unique features such as real-time push notifications and specialized cross-chain profit/loss (P&L) tracking. Its infrastructure is built to support a wide array of ecosystems, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and various Layer-2s like Arbitrum and Optimism, providing a more versatile data layer for multi-chain development.

The $MARSH token serves several critical functions. It is used as a payment method by data consumers and enterprises for infrastructure services. Node operators, or Indexers, must stake $MARSH to participate in the network and earn rewards, while non-technical holders can delegate their tokens to these indexers to help secure the network. Furthermore, holding $MARSH unlocks premium features on the XScan.io multichain explorer, including advanced analytics like tax statements and detailed portfolio tracking.

The Unmarshal Public Mainnet is scheduled to launch on March 31, 2025, marking its transition to a fully decentralized network. Looking toward 2025, the project is focusing on high-growth sectors like Real World Assets (RWA) and Artificial Intelligence. The roadmap includes the release of specialized APIs for tokenized asset tracking and the introduction of AI-driven data agents. To encourage early adoption, a reward pool of 1,000,000 $MARSH has been allocated for testnet participants, node runners, and bug bounty hunters.

The network utilizes a decentralized structure with three primary roles. Indexers are node operators who provide and organize data by staking $MARSH. Validators ensure the integrity of the ecosystem by checking the correctness of the indexed data. Finally, Delegators are community members who contribute to network security by staking their tokens with established indexers. This structure ensures that the data remains accurate and accessible while rewarding those who help maintain the infrastructure.

Users can acquire $MARSH tokens on several trading platforms, including LBank and other major centralized and decentralized exchanges. To demonstrate long-term commitment to the project and prevent market dilution, the Unmarshal team announced in early 2024 that they were extending the vesting period for 10 million team-allocated tokens until June 2026. This move highlights the team's dedication to the project's growth as they approach the 2025 mainnet launch and continue to expand their ecosystem partnerships.
