Udao is a decentralized Web3 platform designed to bridge the gap between education and employment within the "Skills Economy." Developed by anywAI AG and based in Switzerland, the project leverages an AI-driven "Skills Engine" to assess skill gaps and match talent with organizational needs. By using blockchain, Udao ensures transparency and ownership, providing an environment where users can learn job-relevant skills, teach courses, and get recruited through a decentralized framework.

The UDAO token serves several core functions: governance, payments, rewards, and validation. Token holders can stake their tokens to gain voting power via veUDAO, allowing them to influence platform development and treasury spending. As a payment method, UDAO is used to purchase courses or tip instructors, offering fee discounts. Furthermore, users earn tokens through "Contribute-to-Earn" and "Learn-to-Earn" mechanics, while validators receive rewards for maintaining content quality across the ecosystem.

Udao incentivizes participation through its "Learn-to-Earn" and "Contribute-to-Earn" models. Learners can earn UDAO tokens by reaching specific learning milestones and having their skills verified by the AI engine, supported by a bursary pool funded by job posting fees. Instructors earn the majority of revenue from their courses—often cited between 80-95%—while maintaining full ownership of their intellectual property via the blockchain. This model ensures that those providing value to the community are fairly compensated.

Community members can act as Validators to maintain high platform standards by reviewing content and resolving disputes in exchange for rewards. To participate in governance, users lock their UDAO tokens to receive veUDAO (vote-escrowed UDAO). This non-transferable token grants voting power and reward multipliers. The longer a user locks their tokens, the more voting power they accumulate, allowing them to participate in the platform's transition into a fully Decentralized Autonomous Organization.

UDAO is an ERC-20 token primarily operating within the Polygon ecosystem to benefit from lower transaction fees, though it is also compatible with Ethereum. The total supply is fixed at 200,000,000 tokens. This fixed supply supports the ecosystem's utility and governance structure, ensuring that the community-driven platform remains sustainable as it scales its decentralized education and recruitment services.

UDAO tokens are available for trading on major global exchanges, including LBank. The project's long-term goal is to evolve into a "Global Skills Operating System"—a public infrastructure for verifiable skill data. Future roadmap milestones include the launch of Smart Talent Pools, a Skills Wiki, and AI Career Co-pilots.
