Trove is a Web3-native trading platform focused on collectibles and digital assets. Its flagship protocol allows users to trade tokenized collectibles with up to 5x leverage through perpetual-style markets, aiming to unlock liquidity and facilitate price discovery for traditionally illiquid assets. Additionally, Trove operates a regulated digital asset trading platform providing secure access to crypto markets with institutional-grade execution, custody, and risk controls.

The $TROVE token provides an ownership layer for Trove Markets users, serving primarily as a governance token with voting power within the ecosystem. Staking TROVE offers access to reward multipliers, enhanced governance participation, and a share of the protocol's emissions. A significant 70% of the platform's revenue is allocated to token burns and staking rewards. Initially, 70% of the total supply is Escrowed TROVE (esTROVE), which can be staked for protocol revenue sharing (if approved by DAO) or vested into TROVE over one year.

Trove Markets is a pioneering decentralized exchange enabling perpetual trading for diverse assets like collectibles (e.g., Pokémon cards, CS2 skins), Real-World Assets, and prediction market shares, with up to 5x leverage. To ensure accurate price discovery for these typically illiquid assets, the platform combines Hyperliquid's Hyperps pricing model with data from over 25 external reputable sources. Digital collectibles are also grouped into indexes to improve underlying liquidity, making them more suitable for perpetual futures trading.

Trove's ICO, held between January 8-11, 2026, aimed to raise $2.5 million at a $20 million FDV, but significantly oversubscribed, raising over $4 million. Controversy arose from an initial announcement of a fundraising period extension, which was later reversed. This led to community doubts about "manipulating expectations" and resulted in losses for some Polymarket bettors. The team attributed the confusion to "overlistening to a minority of supporters" and reaffirmed their commitment to product delivery. A full unlock mechanism was used at the Token Generation Event, with tokens airdropped to contributors.

To stake TROVE, users need to hold tokens in a compatible non-custodial wallet and stake them via the official dApp interface. Staking rewards are dynamic, influenced by the stake size, active multipliers (linked to lock duration and governance activity), and the total amount of TROVE staked network-wide. Staking also grants governance voting power, allowing stakers to influence key protocol parameters, including future token emission allocation. Users are advised to regularly claim and re-stake earnings to maximize their Annual Percentage Yield (APY).

As of recent information, TROVE tokens can be purchased on decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Users should connect a compatible crypto wallet to a DEX that supports TROVE trading. It is recommended to create a cryptocurrency wallet (digital or hardware) and configure it with a blockchain network compatible with the Arbitrove Protocol, then select a suitable DEX for the transaction.
