The protocol targets a substantial annual percentage rate (APR) through these secured lending operations.

To obtain USDai, you can mint or purchase it via the official application. sUSDai is then acquired by staking your existing USDai, or in some cases, it can be bought directly where the contract handles the staking process for you. Redeeming USDai involves burning it through the protocol's smart contracts to withdraw stablecoins like USDC or USDT. Swapping USDai means exchanging it for another token through a decentralized exchange (DEX).

No, sUSDai is not a stablecoin. Unlike USDai, which is designed as a low-risk, fully-backed stablecoin for instant redemptions and deep liquidity, sUSDai is a free-floating token. It represents shares in a portfolio of targeted lending positions and unallocated USDai within the protocol. Its value is expected to grow over time due to accrued yield, differentiating it from a price-pegged stablecoin.

Holding or staking sUSDai carries several risks.
