SurfCash is a Web3 payment platform designed as a neobank for travelers. It enables users to spend stablecoins at local merchants in developing regions by scanning standard QR codes. The project aims to bridge the gap between holding crypto and spending fiat, facilitating real-world utility for digital assets without the burden of high exchange fees.

The process allows users to deposit crypto into the SurfCash app and scan a merchant's local QR code. SurfCash manages the instant conversion, ensuring the merchant receives local fiat in their bank account. Notably, the user maintains custody of their funds until the exact moment the transaction is triggered, providing a secure bridge to local economies.

SurfCash is currently live in Vietnam and the Philippines. The project has announced strategic plans to expand its services to other major markets, including Brazil, Indonesia, and Thailand, aiming to simplify cross-border spending and financial access for international travelers.

$SURF functions as a governance and ownership token within the ecosystem. Holders can create and vote on proposals that influence project development and ecosystem partnerships. Additionally, the token is used for user rewards and participation in decision markets, aligning the interests of the community with the platform's growth.

$SURF is available on major trading platforms such as LBank and various decentralized exchanges within the Solana ecosystem. As it is a Solana-based token, it can be stored and managed in compatible Web3 wallets. Users are encouraged to verify contract addresses through official channels to ensure security during transactions.

SurfCash allows digital nomads to access local payment networks like PIX or VNPay without the need for a local bank account or residency. Beyond payments, the ecosystem provides traveler-specific perks, including access to insurance, airport lounges, and discounts at partner coworking spaces for active community members and token holders.
