SonarWatch (SONAR) is a crypto and Web3 project that developed a multi-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) portfolio and analytics platform. Its main purpose is to help users track and manage their digital assets across various blockchain networks. The platform offers a range of features, including comprehensive portfolio management, real-time yield tracking, and detailed analytics for cross-chain positions. These analytics cover areas such as yield calculations, position management for liquidity, lending, and staking activities, and risk assessment tools. SonarWatch also provides tools for professional users, including advanced portfolio analysis, customizable alerts for market changes, and API access for developers and institutions. Users can monitor tokens, liquidity pools, yield farms, staking positions, lending activities, and NFTs. SonarWatch was initially built on the Solana blockchain to address the need for efficient asset tracking in its rapidly growing DeFi ecosystem. However, it expanded its capabilities to support multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, and currently covers over 120 protocols across nine different chains, such as Solana, Sui, and Aptos. The platform emphasizes user privacy by not requiring private keys or seed phrases for wallet connection, allowing users to track portfolios by connecting their wallet or by simply entering a public wallet address. It is an open-source project. The native utility token of the project, SONAR, is designed to provide access to premium features, often referred to as "PRO" features. These include support for tracking multiple wallets, access to historical data charts, and the ability to export portfolio data. SonarWatch was founded by Oliver, with Guillaume and Victor later joining the management team. Recently, SonarWatch was acquired by Jupiter, a prominent decentralized exchange aggregator within the Solana ecosystem. Following this acquisition, SonarWatch's independent operations will cease, and its functionalities will be integrated into Jupiter's platform. As a result, the SONAR token will be discontinued, and holders will have the option to exchange their SONAR tokens for Jupiter's native token, JUP.
