Users can stake SHRAP through the official project dApp to earn rewards. The reward rate is variable and is influenced by 'lock duration' multipliers, which allow users to increase their yield by committing tokens for longer periods. Beyond staking, SHRAP serves as the primary governance token for the Shrapnel DAO. This allows token holders to vote on significant project decisions, such as future game features and map designs, ensuring the community has a direct influence on the game's evolution.
