ezJTO is Renzo's Vault (Re)Staking Token (VRT), representing a user's restaked JTO (Jito's governance token) position on the Jito network. It enables participation in securing Node Consensus Networks (NCNs). ezJTO is a reward-bearing token, similar to ezSOL, where its value increases relative to the underlying assets as it accrues and compounds rewards over time.

Users can deposit JTO or SOL directly through Renzo's platform to mint ezJTO, with the platform automatically converting SOL to JTO if needed. Restakers earn staking and restaking rewards, which are automatically compounded into their ezJTO balance. This compounding mechanism increases the amount of collateral a user can claim without increasing the asset supply, thereby leading to an increase in ezJTO's price as rewards are harvested.

Holding ezJTO offers several benefits. Restakers earn automatically compounded staking and restaking rewards. It provides liquid staking, allowing users to mint ezJTO while maintaining liquidity for use in various DeFi protocols like lending and Automated Market Makers (AMMs) without needing to unstake JTO. Renzo also simplifies restaking by abstracting away the complexity of choosing and managing Actively Validated Services (AVS) strategies.

You can acquire ezJTO by depositing JTO or SOL directly through Renzo's platform. Alternatively, it can be traded on decentralized exchanges. Specific instructions might be available for buying ezJTO via a crypto exchange's Web3 Wallet, typically involving swapping stablecoins for ezJTO on a decentralized exchange.

Withdrawals are generally enabled and initiated through the platform. Once a withdrawal is started, it enters a queue and typically becomes available for claiming after two epochs, which can take up to 4 days. A total fee of 0.2% applies to each withdrawal, split between Renzo (0.1%) and Jito (0.1%). It's important to note that rewards stop accruing on your ezJTO once a withdrawal is initiated.

Key risks associated with ezJTO include market liquidity, which can be low and potentially lead to significant price differences. There is also smart contract risk, common in DeFi protocols, meaning exposure to potential vulnerabilities. Additionally, depositing assets into restaking protocols like Renzo carries slashing risk, even though Renzo works with institutional-grade node operators.
