Quickswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the Polygon Network. It functions as an Automated Market Maker (AMM), enabling users to swap ERC-20 tokens efficiently without an order book. In March 2022, the Quickswap community voted to implement a 1:1000 token split, which resulted in the creation of two distinct versions of the QUICK token. The 'New QUICK' token is the current active version, primarily used for governance voting and for staking within the 'Dragon's Lair' to earn rewards. Users who hold 'Old QUICK' tokens have the option to convert them into the 'New QUICK' version, centralizing the ecosystem's focus on the updated token for ongoing platform participation and utility.
