DeltaPrime is a decentralized borrowing and investing ecosystem that functions as a prime brokerage for the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Operating on the Avalanche and Arbitrum blockchains, the project aims to unlock trapped liquidity by allowing users to access undercollateralized loans through a trustless system. Unlike traditional lending platforms that require high amounts of collateral to be locked away, DeltaPrime focuses on capital efficiency, enabling borrowers to utilize more capital than they initially provide. The core of the platform is the Prime Account. When a user creates one, a dedicated smart contract is deployed on the blockchain to act as a personal escrow. All borrowed funds and the user's own collateral are held within this smart contract. While the user maintains control over how these funds are invested, the smart contract ensures that borrowed assets cannot be transferred directly to a personal wallet. This structure allows the protocol to maintain solvency and perform liquidations if a user's health factor drops too low, even while the funds are being used in other integrated protocols. Users can deploy their borrowed capital into a variety of whitelisted DeFi protocols for activities such as yield farming, providing liquidity, or trading. The platform supports cross-margin functionality, meaning the health of a user's account is calculated based on their entire portfolio of active and passive investments within the Prime Account. This allows for more flexible risk management across different assets and strategies. The ecosystem utilizes a dual-token system consisting of PRIME and sPRIME. PRIME is the primary tradeable token and serves as the foundation for the protocol's liquidity. sPRIME is the utility and governance token, which users can obtain by providing liquidity for PRIME. Holding sPRIME grants users various benefits, including access to advanced platform features, a share of protocol revenue and liquidation fees, and the accrual of governance power. Governance in DeltaPrime is designed to transition toward a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) model. In this system, active users and sPRIME holders gain voting rights to shape the future direction of the protocol. By aligning the interests of borrowers, lenders, and token holders, DeltaPrime seeks to create a sustainable and community-driven ecosystem for advanced DeFi strategies.
