It is utilized for tipping creators on the PlayTV platform, boosting content visibility on various social platforms, and covering node hosting fees for the Kyvo service. The project also anticipates its future use for e-commerce transactions within the planned Cartix Marketplace, establishing an internal economic utility.

Proof-of-Impact (PoI) is Optio's distinctive consensus protocol. Unlike traditional Proof-of-Work or Proof-of-Stake mechanisms, PoI is designed to cryptographically verify that meaningful human activity has genuinely occurred on its designated "Oracle Apps." This verification process confirms actions like posting, sharing, or tipping. Once verified, the protocol then proceeds to distribute rewards to participants, aiming to incentivize genuine engagement and interaction within the network.

Users can participate as node operators by purchasing an Optio Node "license." For individuals who prefer not to manage hardware or lack technical skills, the project offers "Kyvo Hosting" to run nodes in a cloud environment. Node holders receive a portion of the 40% of the token supply that is allocated to operators. These distributions are conducted daily, with the rewards for each operator based on their level of participation and contribution to the network.

OPT tokens are available for trading on several centralized exchanges, including LBank. Additionally, users can acquire and trade OPT tokens on various decentralized exchanges accessible via compatible Web3 wallets. These options provide multiple avenues for individuals to obtain or exchange the token within the broader digital asset market, catering to different user preferences for trading platforms.
