Noggles (NOGS) is an experimental crypto project that functions as a memecoin, a utility token, and foundational infrastructure for the "nounish" ecosystem. It is described as a "nounish currency" dedicated to expanding the ⌐◨-◨ meme. NOGS is an ERC-20 token, with support extended to the Base and Polygon networks, ensuring broad accessibility and integration within the Web3 space.

NOGS aims to be the driving force of a nounish economy, promoting positivity and support within the community. Its utility within the Nouns ecosystem includes enabling Farcaster tipping, facilitating participation in the Noggles Club, and influencing Nouns Governance. NOGS can primarily be acquired through "Social Staking" and active "proliferation" efforts. Initially, NNS (Nouns Name Service) holders who included the .⌐◨-◨ NNS domain in their social media names received NOGS via Social Staking. Users can activate Social Staking after claiming their NNS to "farm" NOGS and monitor rewards on their Noggles Dashboard. Other methods involve joining the "nouniverse" or acting as a "nounish ambassador" to spread the ⌐◨-◨ meme. Holding NOGS also grants weekly tickets for the Noggles Club, with 1 million NOGS yielding one ticket.

The total supply of NOGS is capped at 69,000,000,000 tokens. A small yearly inflation rate of 1.69% is implemented to inject new tokens, supporting ecosystem growth and proliferation efforts. The project aims for a deflationary model by burning a percentage of NOGS as it gains adoption. Token distribution allocates 40% to Nounish DAOs, 10% to the NOGS Ecosystem, 10% to NNS Labs and contributors, and 40% for liquidity. NOGS was launched in July 2023.

NOGS holders play a vital role in guiding the Nouns DAO. They can participate in Nouns DAO voting by influencing how the NNS pool of Nouns casts its votes.
