Users who provide liquidity to specific pools can stake their provider tokens in the Amplifier to earn additional incentives. The ecosystem also includes a bonding mechanism. This allows the platform to grow its protocol-owned liquidity by permitting users to exchange their liquidity provider tokens for the project's native token at a favorable rate over a set vesting period. This approach is intended to create more sustainable and long-term liquidity for the protocol. Governance is handled through the Mute DAO. Holders of the native MUTE token can lock their assets for a specified duration to receive dMUTE, which is a non-transferable soul-bound token. This governance token grants users the power to vote on protocol changes, proposal approvals, and the distribution of ecosystem rewards. The amount of voting power typically scales with the length of time the tokens are locked. In recent developments, the project has undergone a rebranding process to transition into the Koi ecosystem. This evolution involves a token migration where original tokens are swapped for a new ecosystem token, expanding the project's scope within the broader decentralized finance landscape.
