MSquare Global (MSQ) is a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin built on a blockchain, designed to maintain a stable peg to the US Dollar. It also serves as a blockchain-powered payment ecosystem. Its primary goal is to streamline cross-border transactions and integrate digital assets into real-world economic activities, such as e-commerce, real estate, and workforce development.

MSQ tokens are generated when users deposit accepted collateral assets into a smart contract vault within the MSquare Global system, effectively minting MSQ against their collateral to create a decentralized line of credit. Beyond its generation, MSQ functions as a real-economy payment token, enabling fee-free transactions across MSquare's various global platforms, including shopping malls and AI-integrated applications. Additionally, MSQ can be staked by users to earn rewards and participate in project governance.

The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for staking MSQ is variable and dynamic. It is primarily influenced by factors such as liquidation events that occur within the ecosystem and the ongoing emissions of MSQ tokens. During periods of high market volatility, the APY can be significantly higher, potentially reaching triple digits. Conversely, in calmer market conditions, it might settle into single-digit percentages. Staking MSQ in the Stability Pool specifically allows participants to earn rewards derived from liquidation gains and these continuous token emissions.

MSquare Global has implemented security measures, including undergoing security audits. However, like all decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, staking MSQ carries inherent risks. These include potential smart contract bugs or vulnerabilities, as well as economic exploits. Users must be aware of these fundamental risks. Additionally, if users opt to stake their MSQ tokens with a specified lock duration, their staked assets will remain illiquid and inaccessible until that predetermined period concludes.

Governance within the MSquare Global ecosystem operates on a decentralized model, empowering veMSQ token holders. These holders have the ability to participate directly in decision-making processes by voting on governance proposals. These proposals can originate from either the broader community of users or the core development team. All voting activities are conducted transparently and immutably on-chain, facilitated through the official MSquare Global decentralized application (dApp).

The MSQ token features a fixed and finite total supply, specifically capped at 25,916,431 tokens. A notable aspect of its tokenomics is that this entire supply was fully distributed at the project's inception. MSquare Global emphasizes transparency in its design, particularly by having zero foundation holdings reserved for capital profit. This approach is intended to prevent potential market manipulation and foster a more equitable distribution among its community members.
