On the other side, borrowers can access these funds by providing collateral. The platform supports over collateralized loans, where borrowers deposit more value than they borrow, as well as specialized financial tools like flash loans. The MOO token is the native governance token of the Moola Market ecosystem. It is a cERC20 token minted on the Celo network and serves as the core mechanism for protocol decision making. Holders of MOO tokens have the ability to participate in the governance of the platform by proposing and voting on various changes. These governance decisions can include adding new assets to the protocol, adjusting loan to value ratios, setting liquidation thresholds, and determining fee structures. This decentralized approach allows the community of token owners to control the protocol treasury and influence the future development of the market.
