Moments Market (MMT) is a decentralized finance (DeFi) liquidity engine leveraging the Sui blockchain. Its primary objective is to function as a global financial operating system specifically for tokenized assets. The project begins this endeavor with its flagship offering, a Decentralized Exchange (DEX), aiming to provide a robust and efficient platform for digital asset transactions.

A key differentiating factor is its commitment to returning 100% of all trading fees generated on the platform directly to veMMT (vote-escrowed MMT) holders. The MMT token serves a dual purpose as both a governance and reward token within the Moments Market ecosystem. Its core utilities empower holders to lock MMT to obtain veMMT, granting them significant governance rights. Furthermore, MMT holders can earn a share of the platform's trading fees, receive "bribes" from external projects vying for gauge votes, and gain exclusive participation in launchpads or other special events within the ecosystem.

The ve(3,3) governance model in Moments Market operates by allowing users to bond, or lock, their MMT tokens to generate veMMT (vote-escrowed MMT). The amount of governance power received is directly proportional to both the quantity of MMT locked and the duration for which it is committed. Holders of veMMT then gain the ability to actively participate in crucial decision-making, such as voting on improvement proposals, adjusting platform parameters, and determining the distribution of token emissions.

Users have several avenues to acquire MMT tokens. They can earn MMT by actively participating in the ecosystem through liquidity provision and yield farming activities. Additionally, MMT can be obtained by locking it to generate veMMT, which also provides governance benefits. Community offerings provide another opportunity for acquisition. Finally, users can purchase MMT through trading on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) or centralized exchanges like LBank.
