Magic LUM ($MLUM) functions as the essential governance token for the MagicSea Decentralized Exchange (DEX). It forms the bedrock of the platform's decentralized decision-making framework, enabling holders to influence the DEX's future trajectory and operational strategies. This token is central to ensuring community-driven development and stewardship of the MagicSea ecosystem.

mLUM holders gain substantial utility by actively participating in the governance of the MagicSea DEX. This includes the power to vote on critical decisions, such as the emission rates for $LUM in farms and other strategic protocol choices. Additionally, holding mLUM grants exclusive access to all protocol earnings via special staking pools. These pools distribute revenue generated from various sources, including trading fees, NFT marketplace fees, deposit fees, and proceeds from fair launches, directly benefiting token holders.

Magic LUM features a strictly limited total supply of 1 million tokens, emphasizing scarcity. Its distribution is unique, occurring exclusively through a 'Booster' contract where $LUM tokens are refined into $MLUM. Initially, 205,000 mLUM were minted for initial liquidity and team allocations, which are securely locked in liquidity or staking pools. The token's minting rate is dynamically adjusted each epoch, with the full distribution planned to span a minimum of five years, ensuring controlled supply and long-term sustainability.
