Lynex is the native liquidity layer and a leading Decentralized Exchange (DEX) on the Linea blockchain. As a core participant in the Consensys Scale program, it acts as the primary liquidity engine for the network. Unlike traditional Automated Market Makers (AMMs), Lynex utilizes "FUSION," a concentrated liquidity layer, alongside Automated Liquidity Managers (ALMs) to optimize capital efficiency. It is deeply integrated with Linea’s ecosystem campaigns, making it a central hub for users looking to maximize their involvement and rewards within the Linea network.

The ecosystem employs a dual-token model consisting of LYNX and veLYNX. LYNX is the liquid utility token used primarily for liquidity mining and trading. Users can choose to "vote-escrow" their LYNX by locking it for a specific duration to receive veLYNX, which is represented as an NFT. Holding veLYNX grants users governance rights, including the ability to vote on which liquidity pools receive LYNX emissions. In return for voting, veLYNX holders receive a share of protocol trading fees and external incentives known as "bribes" provided by other projects.

oLYNX is an innovative mechanism used for protocol emissions. Instead of receiving liquid LYNX directly, liquidity providers are rewarded with oLYNX (Option LYNX). To convert oLYNX into liquid LYNX, users must "exercise" the option by paying a strike price. This strike price is typically set at a discount to the current market value. This mechanism serves two purposes: it allows users to acquire the native token at a favorable rate while simultaneously helping the protocol build its own treasury, ensuring long-term sustainability and liquidity depth.

Lynex operates on a ve(3,3) model with weekly cycles called "Epochs." To influence which pools receive the most token emissions, external projects provide "bribes" or incentives to veLYNX holders. By voting for a specific pool, veLYNX holders help that project deepen its liquidity. To participate and earn rewards, users must cast their votes before the weekly snapshot, which typically occurs every Wednesday at 23:59 UTC. Rewards, including bribes and trading fees, do not compound automatically; users must manually claim them to manage their positions.

FUSION is Lynex’s advanced concentrated liquidity layer. Unlike standard AMMs that spread liquidity across an infinite price range, FUSION allows liquidity to be concentrated within specific price intervals. To simplify this for users, Lynex integrates with Automated Liquidity Managers (ALMs) like Gamma and ICHI. These managers automatically adjust price ranges as market conditions change, reducing the need for manual intervention. This results in lower slippage for traders and higher capital efficiency for liquidity providers compared to legacy decentralized exchange models.

Security is a priority for Lynex, with its smart contracts audited by reputable firms such as Salus Security. The protocol’s architecture is based on battle-tested ve(3,3) codebases utilized across multiple major blockchain networks. Looking forward, Lynex is developing "zkLynex," which incorporates Zero-Knowledge proofs. This technology aims to enable private trading via "Darkpools," protecting large-scale traders from Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) strategies and front-running. This combination of audited transparency and privacy-preserving technology positions Lynex as a sophisticated platform for both retail and institutional participants.
