To migrate legacy tokens (V1 or V2) to V3, holders should navigate to the official JuiceboxDAO project page. Within the "Tokens" tab, users must first grant permission for their legacy tokens. Once permission is granted, users can execute the migration transaction to receive the new V3 JBX tokens. This process ensures holders are compatible with the latest protocol updates.
Following the approval of proposal JBP 484, the JBX supply was fixed at approximately 2.05 billion tokens. The protocol moved away from minting new tokens for every contribution. Instead, protocol fees are now used to buy back JBX from decentralized exchanges. This relationship ensures that JBX holders benefit from the $NANA ecosystem, as the $NANA token plays a central role in the protocol's evolved fee structure and reward mechanisms.
