jSOL represents staked SOL on the JPool platform within the Solana ecosystem. It serves as a liquid staking derivative, meaning users receive jSOL in exchange for their deposited SOL, which is then staked by the protocol. JPool aggregates user-deposited SOL and stakes it with selected validators. In return, users receive jSOL. The key mechanism for reward accrual is the continuously increasing SOL-per-jSOL exchange rate. Your quantity of jSOL tokens remains constant, but over time, each jSOL becomes redeemable for a larger amount of SOL, reflecting the accumulated staking rewards. There's no manual claiming process; rewards are automatically compounded into the value of your jSOL, realized upon conversion back to SOL.
