HyperEVM Bridged USR (USR) is the port of Resolv Labs’ yield-bearing stablecoin to the HyperEVM network, the EVM-compatible layer of the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It utilizes a "delta-neutral" strategy to maintain its $1 peg. This involves backing every USR token with Ethereum (ETH) while simultaneously hedging that position with short futures. This mechanism neutralizes the impact of ETH price fluctuations, ensuring the stablecoin remains pegged regardless of market volatility.

Users can utilize USR in several ways on HyperEVM. The most common activities include providing liquidity on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to earn trading fees, or supplying the token to lending protocols to earn interest. Furthermore, holding or utilizing USR allows users to qualify for various ecosystem rewards, such as Resolv Points and seasonal airdrop incentives within the Hyperliquid network. Some protocols also offer "dual points," allowing users to accumulate rewards from multiple platforms simultaneously by participating in specific liquidity pools.

To move USR to HyperEVM, you can use supported third-party bridges that connect Ethereum, Base, or Arbitrum to the network. These bridges typically use intent-based or collateralized models for security. Alternatively, users can acquire assets on the spot market, convert them to USR, and then use the native "Token Linking" feature to transfer the tokens from the core trading engine to the EVM layer. This linking ensures a seamless 1-to-1 transfer within the integrated ecosystem.

Because HyperEVM is a distinct network from Ethereum or other Layer 2s, USR will not automatically appear in your wallet. You must first manually add the HyperEVM network settings to your Web3 wallet. Once the network is added, you need to import the specific USR contract address. You can find the verified contract address on official block explorers or reputable data aggregators to ensure you are tracking the correct token.

This is a common issue for new users. HyperEVM uses the HYPE token as its native gas for transaction fees, rather than ETH or USR. Even if you hold a large amount of USR, you cannot execute transactions without a small balance of HYPE. The simplest solution is to obtain HYPE via the spot market and then transfer a small portion to your EVM address using the "Transfer to EVM" function in your portfolio settings to cover future gas costs.

USR maintains stability through a hedged backing system. By shorting Ethereum on major global trading platforms, the protocol ensures that the total value of the backing remains constant even if the price of ETH drops significantly. For added security, the system includes an insurance layer known as the Resolv Liquidity Pool (RLP). This pool is designed to absorb potential losses before they impact USR holders. Additionally, the bridges used for HyperEVM are generally selected for their low risk of permanent capital loss compared to traditional models.
