Holdium (HM) is a distinctive token operating within the Solana ecosystem, specifically created to acknowledge and reward "hodlers" – individuals who commit to long-term ownership of specific meme coins. The project aims to celebrate their steadfast belief and resilience in maintaining their positions despite market volatility, fostering a community of dedicated long-term participants.

Holdium operates through a proportional allocation system designed to incentivize and reward long-term commitment. This system identifies and benefits holders of designated meme coins on the Solana blockchain. Eligibility for receiving rewards is based on a dual criteria: both the amount of the specified meme coins held in a wallet and the length of time these holdings have been maintained are factored into the reward distribution.

Holdium tokens are primarily acquired through an airdrop program. To qualify for this distribution, wallets needed to be registered by a specific cutoff date. The tokens are then distributed through monthly allocations over an 18-month vesting period, ensuring a gradual release. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to increase their share of HM by accruing extra points, often achieved by referring new individuals to the program.

Should a participant decide to sell their airdropped Holdium tokens before the designated vesting schedule is complete, a specific consequence is enacted. Any portion of their allocated airdrop that has not yet been distributed to their wallet will be permanently removed from circulation, or "burned." This mechanism is strategically implemented to reinforce and incentivize long-term commitment, aligning with the project's foundational principle of rewarding sustained holding.
