Hex Trust USD (USDX) is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US Dollar. It is designed to serve as a reliable medium of exchange for the Web3 ecosystem, prioritizing institutional-grade security and compliance. Issued by HT Digital Assets, the tokenization arm of the leading licensed digital asset custodian Hex Trust, USDX bridges the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi), offering a regulated and secure option for institutional engagement in digital assets.

USDX is fully backed by at least a 1:1 ratio of cash and cash-equivalent reserves. These reserves primarily consist of highly liquid 1–3 month U.S. Treasury Bills (T-Bills). These T-Bills are held at regulated, tier-1 financial institutions, which provides a robust and secure foundation for the stablecoin. This transparent and compliant backing mechanism is crucial for its institutional-grade security and compliance framework.

USDX was launched natively on the Flare Network and is also available on Ethereum and Songbird. Furthermore, it serves as the primary asset for Ozean, a Layer 2 network specifically designed for Real-World Assets (RWAs). This multi-chain presence allows USDX to support various DeFi activities and integrations, offering flexibility and broad accessibility across different blockchain environments for both retail and institutional users.

One significant opportunity to earn yield with USDX is through the Clearpool T-Pool. Users can stake their USDX in this pool to earn "real-world yield," which is derived directly from the underlying U.S. Treasury Bills that back USDX. Additionally, participants may receive extra incentives, such as FLR tokens, on the Flare network. Staking USDX provides a regulated and compliant way to gain returns from traditional financial assets within a DeFi context.

USDX is available for acquisition on both Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) and Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs). For CEXs, it can be purchased on LBank and other leading exchanges, providing broad accessibility for users. On the DEX front, USDX is traded on platforms such as Enosys V3 (Flare) and other relevant decentralized trading protocols.
