Heroes TD is a blockchain-based Play-to-Earn (P2E) 3D GameFi tower defense game, launched in 2022. It is set within a Heroes Metaverse and combines engaging gaming experiences with blockchain technology. HTD is a specialized decentralized finance (DeFi) token that is fundamental to the Heroes TD ecosystem. It serves multiple purposes within the game, including facilitating in-game activities, purchasing assets on the marketplace, and, critically, summoning new Heroes. In Heroes TD, players strategically deploy a deck of five heroes in tower defense battles. The game offers diverse modes such as PvP Arena, Co-op, Challenge, and Tournament modes. New players begin with basic heroes and can enhance their strategic options by acquiring NFT Heroes. The primary objective typically involves defending a base against incoming waves of enemies, while also deploying heroes to attack the opponent's base in competitive modes.

Heroes TD was developed by CG Studio, a team boasting extensive experience within the game industry, with over 15 years in game development. The game was subsequently published by VGS Studio, bringing their collective expertise to deliver this blockchain-based tower defense experience to players.

Heroes TD features two primary categories of heroes that players can utilize in their battles. The first type consists of Basic Heroes, which are provided to new players upon starting the game, allowing immediate engagement. The second and more advanced type comprises NFT Heroes, which can be purchased or summoned within the game. These NFT Heroes are crucial for higher-level gameplay, offering unique abilities and enhancing strategic depth for players aiming for competitive advantages.
