HandlPay is a Web3 project designed to simplify global peer-to-peer and crypto payments by allowing users to send and receive money using social media handles. The project's mission is to help micro-businesses and individuals on social media streamline their payment processes with a global audience. Instead of requiring complex crypto addresses, bank account numbers, or phone numbers, HandlPay utilizes social media usernames from platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Google accounts as payment identifiers. This system aims to make sending money as straightforward as sending a direct message. The platform supports a variety of payment methods, including stablecoins, memecoins, Bitcoin, and traditional card payments. It offers global sending capabilities, allowing users to send money worldwide, with recipients receiving payments in their preferred currency. HandlPay acts as a routing system, connecting consumers with various payment service providers and abstracting the complexities of currency conversion and cross-chain bridging. HandlPay integrates with several major blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and the Canton Network. It also includes fiat on-ramp integrations with services like Visa, MasterCard, ApplePay, Stellar anchor network, MoonPay, and Mercuryo, facilitating the transition between traditional and digital currencies. Users can link their existing cryptocurrency wallets or create new ones through the HandlPay platform to manage incoming payments and airdrops. The HANDL token is an integral part of the HandlPay ecosystem. Its primary utility is to serve as a unified gas token, enabling users to execute transactions across supported networks while HandlPay handles the underlying native gas fees, thereby simplifying the user experience. The token also provides access to premium tiers and features within the platform, such as customizable payment pages, privacy enhancements, and eligibility for future airdrops. Additionally, HANDL can be used to set up automated rules for incoming payments, like converting funds to a specific stablecoin. HandlPay has implemented mechanisms like token burning and usage incentives to support the token's value and encourage adoption. The project, formerly known as TransferMole, had onboarded over 230,000 users and processed more than 3 million transactions by early 2026. The team behind HandlPay includes Gregor Arn as CEO, Ivan Loboda as CTO, Carina Couillard as CMO, and Barry Hurley as COO.
