Good Entry uses a unique trading model designed to prevent immediate liquidation. It utilizes 'ezVaults' to act as a buffer for traders. This structure allows users to have an entry position that remains protected even if the market price moves slightly against them. By removing the threat of sudden liquidation due to minor volatility, the protocol provides a safer environment for perpetual trading compared to traditional platforms.

Traders often inquire if the lack of liquidation risk results in higher costs. The protocol's fee structure and spreads are designed to compensate for the protection provided to traders. These costs are necessary to maintain the system and provide incentives for the liquidity providers who fund the ezVaults. While fees may differ from traditional perpetual platforms, they reflect the added value of the no-liquidation mechanic.

The ezVaults provide the essential liquidity that enables the Protected Perps trading model. Depositors who provide capital to these vaults earn yield primarily from the trading fees generated by users on the platform. Additionally, yield may come from protocol-specific token incentives. This system ensures that liquidity providers are rewarded for facilitating a trading environment that protects users from liquidation.

This is a key aspect of the project's tokenomics. GOOD is the liquid, tradeable version of the token. Conversely, esGOOD, or Escrowed GOOD, is a non-liquid version typically earned through protocol rewards. To convert esGOOD into tradeable GOOD, users must undergo a vesting process. This dual-token model is designed to encourage long-term participation and align the interests of the community with the protocol's growth.

Security is a major priority for the project. Good Entry has been audited by reputable security firms, such as Zokyo, to ensure the integrity of its smart contracts. However, like many early-stage DeFi projects, the contract owner may retain certain controls for emergency situations, such as pausing the protocol. Users are encouraged to review audit reports and understand the level of decentralization as the project evolves.

Good Entry is built exclusively on the Arbitrum network. To acquire GOOD tokens, users typically use decentralized exchanges within the Arbitrum ecosystem. Because the protocol is native to this Layer-2 solution, new users will need to bridge assets from Ethereum or other networks to Arbitrum.
