A Liquid Vault allows users to deposit various governance tokens into a diversified, managed pool. In return, participants receive $TRSY, a wrapper token representing their share of the vault. The protocol utilizes AI-driven auto-rebalancing to capture gains from outperforming assets and rotate them into safer or undervalued positions. This mechanism aims to reduce downside volatility compared to holding individual tokens while providing exposure to a broad asset basket.

$FYDE is the protocol’s governance and value-accrual token. It is used for voting on vault assets and participates in protocol revenue through designated mechanisms. By locking $FYDE, users earn $veFYDE for increased voting power. Conversely, $TRSY is the Liquid Vault token that tracks the price performance of the vault’s underlying assets. Users receive $TRSY upon depositing assets and must burn it to withdraw their share of the vault.

Fyde implements an imbalance tax to maintain the target asset composition of the vault. If a user withdraws a token that is currently underweight in the pool, they pay a penalty to prevent further imbalance. To avoid these fees, users should use the Optimal Withdrawal feature. This option automatically selects a basket of overweight tokens to return to the user, allowing for an exit with zero or minimal fees.

Fyde utilizes an in-house simulation engine known as RACE-RS. This system monitors real-time on-chain data for red flags, such as liquidity draining or suspicious developer activity. If a significant risk of a rugpull or exploit is detected in a specific asset, the AI can automatically trigger an exit from the vault’s position in that token, helping to protect the collective treasury from potential losses.

Users can participate in incentive campaigns, such as the Season 2 points program, by depositing assets into the Liquid Vault. These points are typically used to determine future $FYDE token allocations. Additionally, users can lock their $FYDE tokens to receive $veFYDE, which provides governance rights. Users are cautioned to only follow official links from the protocol’s primary website to avoid wallet-draining scams and unofficial airdrop claims.
