Ethereans(os) is a decentralized framework described as an "Operating System" for the blockchain. it allows users to launch 100% on-chain organizations, tokens, and DeFi applications without needing to write code. The protocol is built on three main pillars: Organizations (advanced DAOs), Items (a dynamic and flexible token standard), and Covenants (a specialized suite for DeFi protocols and routines).
While many standard DAOs rely on third-party off-chain tools for governance, Ethereans(os) Organizations are entirely on-chain. This architecture supports "sub-DAOs" for micro-governance and allows for granular permission management that is hardcoded directly into the protocol. By keeping everything on-chain, the system ensures higher transparency and security for decentralized governance compared to traditional off-chain methods.
The $OS token is the native governance and value-accrual token of the project. It is used to vote on protocol upgrades via the veOS system and allows holders to earn a share of protocol revenue generated from the tools and applications built on the OS. Additionally, users can stake $OS to secure the ecosystem's stability and earn rewards based on protocol activity.
veOS stands for vote-escrowed OS. It is a non-transferable version of the $OS token that users receive when they lock their tokens in the protocol.
