EnviDa is a German-based Web3 ecosystem designed to create a decentralized solution for collecting sensitive environmental data, including air quality, CO2 levels, and traffic patterns. The EDAT token is the native utility token of this ecosystem. Currently operating as an ERC-20 token on the Polygon blockchain, it is intended to migrate to a dedicated EnviDa blockchain in the future. The token is used for purchasing proprietary DriveMiner hardware, facilitating environmental data transactions, and rewarding participants who contribute data to the network.

DriveMining is the core proprietary technology of the project, involving the installation of specialized DriveMiner hardware into vehicles such as taxis and delivery vans. The technology operates with a dual-functionality: while the vehicle is moving, the device mines various cryptocurrencies to generate income for the operator while simultaneously gathering environmental data through integrated sensors. This data is validated by the network and stored on the blockchain, ensuring it remains tamper-proof and available for purchase by research institutes or government agencies.

To earn rewards within the EnviDa ecosystem, users must operate a DriveMiner device during active vehicle use. Participation levels are calculated based on the duration of data collection. According to the project's documentation, active participants typically aim to have the DriveMiner operational for approximately 20 hours per day for 24 days per month. The reward rate for this contribution was initially established at approximately 0.83 EDAT for every hour of active data collection.

The DriveMiner is engineered for the rigors of mobile use, featuring a water-cooled FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) hashboard. This component is chosen for its energy efficiency and adaptability compared to standard mining hardware. The device is housed in a durable aluminum casing to protect its internal components. Furthermore, it includes a microcomputer with 4G/LTE connectivity, enabling the hardware to transmit collected environmental data to the blockchain in real-time while the vehicle is in transit.

The EDAT token has a maximum supply of 200,000,000 units. The distribution strategy is designed for long-term sustainability: 75% (150 million) is reserved for mining rewards to incentivize ongoing data collection; 8% (16 million) was allocated for token sales; and 5% (10 million) is designated for the team with specific vesting periods. EDAT is listed on several prominent trading platforms to ensure liquidity for its users. For those preferring centralized exchanges, LBank is a primary platform for trading EDAT. Additionally, the token can be traded on decentralized exchanges such as QuickSwap on the Polygon network. This accessibility supports the project's growth as it transitions through its roadmap, which includes expanding B2B partnerships and launching a full mainnet for smart city environmental data projects.
