The $DOMEN Token is the utility token for the Domenation decentralized gaming ecosystem, designed to fully immerse users in advanced gaming experiences. It serves multiple crucial purposes, enabling players to acquire in-game items, purchase exclusive tournament tickets, and obtain Web3 season passes. Additionally, $DOMEN facilitates access to cosmetic NFTs, allows participation in smart staking opportunities, and supports the exchange of earned NFTs, making it central to the platform's functionality and player engagement.

The $DOMEN token is an ERC-20 cross-chain token operating within an EVM environment. Its foundational layer is Ethereum, a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism blockchain. For all in-game interactions and primary operational activities, Polygon serves as the main chain, also utilizing a PoS mechanism. The total supply of $DOMEN tokens is fixed at 1,000,000,000.

Domenation is a free-to-play, third-person competitive shooter developed by Blackmouth Games, an independent studio, utilizing Unreal Engine 5. It's set in a futuristic world where players engage in battles against creatures and other players across expansive maps. Its unique gameplay revolves around "Domes" and "Pulse" mechanics. Players must seek refuge inside periodically appearing Domes to survive a deadly "Pulse" that sweeps the map, with fewer Domes appearing over time, intensifying combat and strategy.

Blackmouth Games aims to create an inclusive experience, allowing traditional Web2 players to enjoy immersive gameplay without needing to understand blockchain complexities. Concurrently, Web3 players can leverage opportunities to earn blockchain rewards, such as tokens and NFTs, which are tradable. NFTs in Domenation provide true digital ownership for specific in-game assets, including character and weapon skins, and other collectibles. Players can either earn these NFTs through gameplay or purchase them, granting permanent ownership and enhancing personalization and value.

The Beta release of Domenation is currently anticipated in Q4 2024. Prior roadmap plans included delivering an early access version, completing fundraising efforts (which encompassed a public token sale), and successfully launching an NFT marketplace along with their initial NFT collection during 2023. These milestones indicate a steady progression towards the full launch and establishment of the Domenation ecosystem.
