deOTC is the world’s first decentralized Over-The-Counter (OTC) terminal. It facilitates peer-to-peer (P2P) token trading without relying on traditional liquidity pools. By operating outside the standard Automated Market Maker (AMM) model, it eliminates the slippage and front-running issues that typically plague users on decentralized exchanges. This allows for large-scale trades to occur without affecting the underlying asset's market price.

Unlike standard DEXs that use liquidity pools, deOTC uses a fixed-price P2P model. Standard exchanges often suffer from price impact, where large trades move the asset's price significantly. Additionally, public mempools on DEXs attract sandwich attacks from front-running bots. deOTC trades are negotiated or listed at set prices, ensuring zero price impact and protection against malicious bots, providing a safer environment for high-volume traders.

The $DOTC token operates as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. It has a total and maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens, with approximately 70% currently in circulation. To ensure security and authenticity, users are encouraged to verify the official contract address through LBank or other verified community resources to avoid potential scams.

As of early 2025, $DOTC is available for trading on major cryptocurrency exchanges such as LBank. Users can also monitor the token's status through LBank's market tracking tools and official community channels. Because the project focuses on OTC trading, the community frequently shares updated active trading pairs to ensure participants have access to the most liquid markets.

Security is a priority, with the platform moving trades away from public mempools to prevent front-running. Regarding identity, deOTC offers an optional KYC (Know Your Customer) process through its integration with global verification leader Veriff. While not mandatory for all users, this feature allows institutional or high-volume traders to earn a Verified badge, fostering higher trust during large-scale P2P transactions.

The project is developing an OTC dApp, a specialized mobile wallet, and a tiered rewards system to incentivize active participants. Beyond its own growth, deOTC benefits the broader crypto ecosystem by providing a solution for large-scale holders. By allowing whales to sell tokens via the OTC terminal rather than on public markets, it prevents the chart-killing sell pressure that often causes panic in other project communities.
