Chasm is a Web3 and artificial intelligence project dedicated to decentralizing the creation and deployment of AI agents. This protocol is designed to evolve into a pseudo-Artificial General Intelligence intent network, facilitating complex interactions and resource exchanges between different AI agents. The ecosystem relies on various participants, primarily Scouts and Orchestrators. Scouts act as resource curators who help bootstrap and maintain the network. These participants contribute to the network's capacity and are rewarded for their work. Orchestrators play a role in managing routing and operational costs within the protocol. The cai token serves as the cornerstone of this ecosystem, providing several key utilities. It is used as an access token, allowing users to pay for specific resources such as API access, prompts, and workflows within the marketplace. It also functions as a governance tool, enabling holders to participate in decision-making processes regarding the network's future development. Furthermore, the token is used for staking, which helps secure the network and provides participants with priority access to certain features. In terms of its technical foundation, the token is available on multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum and Mantle. It is also used as a reward mechanism for Proof of Work, compensating miners and validators who support the infrastructure. New participants, such as Scouts, are often required to pay registration fees in the native token to join the network.
