Liquid Cat, formerly known as LCAT, is a community-driven project that originally launched on the Hyperliquid chain via the HypurrFUN launchpad. It is framed as a 'resilience' token that has navigated various market phases and eventually rebranded to CAT. While its roots are on Hyperliquid, the project has expanded into the TON (The Open Network) ecosystem to launch GameFi and staking platforms aimed at the Telegram-based Web3 community.

Although Liquid Cat started on Hyperliquid, it has strategically expanded into the TON ecosystem. This integration allows the project to utilize a GameFi and staking platform tailored for Telegram users. Participants can connect TON-compatible wallets to the project's official dashboard to participate in airdrops and ecosystem rewards, bridging the gap between the two different blockchain environments.

Eligibility for the CAT airdrop is typically based on snapshots of on-chain activity. Users are required to connect their TON-compatible wallets to the official Liquid Cat Dashboard to verify their token allocation. While the tokens are free to claim for those who qualify, a small network fee in native TON is necessary to process the transaction. Users should be mindful of claim deadlines, as unclaimed tokens are often burned or moved to the ecosystem treasury.

CAT is the liquid version of the token that can be freely traded on exchanges. In contrast, veCAT (Vote-Escrowed CAT) is a non-transferable token obtained by 'locking' CAT for a specific period, such as one month to one year. Holding veCAT grants voting power and a share of protocol rewards. Typically, a longer lock duration provides a higher multiplier on rewards, though these are often 'hard locks' where tokens cannot be withdrawn early.

Liquid Cat can be traded on the Hyperliquid L1 primary decentralized exchange and various major DEXs within the TON ecosystem. Users can also facilitate trades through the LBank App or LBank’s integrated Web3 services to swap assets for CAT. While the project is currently focused on decentralized platforms, the community often looks toward potential future listings on major centralized exchanges like LBank to increase accessibility.
