Carrot is a decentralized application (dApp) operating on Solana, functioning as a yield aggregator. It is neither a traditional farm nor a wallet. Its primary purpose is to automatically manage users' stablecoin deposits (USDC, USDT, PYUSD) by intelligently routing them to the highest-yielding DeFi protocols within the Solana ecosystem, such as Kamino, MarginFi, and Drift, to maximize returns.

Carrot employs a unique mechanism where CRT is a liquid yield-bearing token. Unlike many protocols requiring you to actively 'claim' earned yield, CRT's value automatically appreciates over time relative to stablecoins. This means that as the underlying assets generate yield through lending and rebalancing, the intrinsic value of each CRT token increases, similar to how Liquid Staking Tokens grow in value.
