NXPC is the core utility and governance token powering the MapleStory Universe, a Web3 gaming ecosystem built upon Nexon's iconic MapleStory IP. This project aims to establish a player-driven economy where digital assets from the game are tokenized as NFTs, granting true ownership to players. The overarching goal is to shift from traditional publisher-controlled models to a system where players can own, trade, and extract real-world value from their in-game assets, fostering a more equitable and valuable gaming experience.

As NXPC's primary utility resides on the native Henesys L1 chain, bridging is a common necessity. The official tool for moving NXPC from the Avalanche C-Chain to Henesys L1 is called "MSU Warp." This bridge facilitates the secure transfer of tokens to where their main utility is utilized. For users needing to move NXPC between Avalanche C-Chain and other external networks, such as BNB Chain where it can be traded on LBank and other leading global exchanges, specific cross-chain bridging solutions provided by the project or its designated partners must be used.

NXPC Fission and Item Fusion are distinct economic mechanisms designed to manage the flow and value of digital assets within the MapleStory Universe. NXPC Fission involves players utilizing (burning or locking) NXPC tokens to acquire NFT item bundles, which regulates the introduction of new items into the game's economy. Conversely, Item Fusion is a reverse process where players can combine or "fuse" unwanted or surplus NFTs to retrieve NXPC tokens. This mechanism serves as a crucial supply-balancing tool, helping to maintain the rarity and intrinsic value of in-game items.

The MapleStory Universe operates on a dual-token economic model, featuring both NXPC and NESO. NXPC serves as the primary on-chain utility and governance token, possessing a fixed supply. It is essential for core functions like covering gas fees on the Henesys L1, acquiring NFTs, and participating in governance decisions for the ecosystem. NESO, on the other hand, is the exclusive in-game currency, utilized for daily gameplay activities such as purchasing consumables like potions or upgrading equipment. Players have the flexibility to convert NXPC into NESO at a predetermined fixed rate, enabling them to bridge their in-game achievements and rewards into the broader digital asset economy.

Eligibility for NXPC rewards, such as airdrops or Pioneer Rewards, is generally extended to early adopters who actively participated in designated "Pioneer Test" events or various community engagement initiatives. The claiming process is straightforward: eligible users need to navigate to the official MapleStory Universe Claim Page. There, they will connect an Avalanche C-Chain compatible wallet, such as MetaMask. A small transaction fee in AVAX will be required to cover the network gas costs, after which the NXPC tokens can be successfully claimed and transferred to their wallet.

The tokenomics of NXPC are structured to promote scarcity and long-term ecosystem growth. Its total supply is hard-capped at 1 billion tokens, ensuring a finite asset pool. To manage the token's distribution and enhance its value over time, NXPC incorporates a halving model, akin to Bitcoin, which periodically reduces the rate at which new tokens are introduced as rewards. A significant portion of the total supply, approximately 80%, is specifically allocated for Ecosystem Contribution Rewards. This strategic allocation is designed to primarily incentivize active players, developers, and community contributors, fostering a sustainable and engaged ecosystem rather than solely benefiting initial investors.
