Astrolescent is a Web3 project built on the Radix Network that functions as a decentralized exchange aggregator and cross-chain bridge. The platform is designed to streamline the trading experience by automatically scanning multiple decentralized exchanges on the Radix network to find the most efficient trading routes. By analyzing available liquidity, the aggregator helps users secure the best possible prices for their swaps and minimizes price impact, particularly for larger transactions, by splitting trades across different platforms. Beyond its role as an aggregator, Astrolescent has expanded its ecosystem to become a primary bridging hub for the Radix community. It facilitates cross-chain swaps between Radix and other major networks like Ethereum and Bitcoin. This bridging service uses protocols such as Maya Protocol, RocketX, and Hyperlane to enable direct asset transfers without the need for wrapped tokens or complex workarounds. The native utility token of the project is ASTRL. This token serves two primary functions within the ecosystem: governance and yield distribution. ASTRL holders can participate in the project's decentralized autonomous organization, known as AstrolescentDAO, to vote on key proposals and the future direction of the platform. Additionally, the token is designed to be yield-bearing for those who choose to stake it. The project implements a profit-sharing model where a portion of the revenue generated from aggregator fees, bridge transactions, limit orders, and the project's own validator node is distributed to ASTRL stakers. These rewards are typically distributed on a weekly or quarterly basis. Astrolescent also incentivizes platform usage through a recurring airdrop program. Users who conduct swaps or use the bridging services on the platform may become eligible for weekly token distributions. The project recently underwent a significant technical update to migrate its infrastructure and tokens from the original Radix Olympia network to the newer Babylon network, ensuring compatibility with the latest smart contract capabilities of the ecosystem. The project was co-founded by Michael Videtto and aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance by offering regulated, transparent, and user-friendly financial tools. Its long-term goal is to provide a seamless, one-click interface for any type of asset exchange, whether it occurs natively on Radix or across different blockchain networks.
