Aspecta is a blockchain infrastructure project focused on building decentralized identities and on-chain reputations. It tackles the fragmentation of digital identities and the lack of liquidity for illiquid assets such as pre-TGE tokens, locked equities, and Real-World Assets (RWAs). By converting user credentials, work history, and asset ownership into verifiable on-chain data, Aspecta aims to standardize trust mechanisms and facilitate fair price discovery for these previously illiquid digital and real-world assets.

Aspecta operates through a combination of AI and decentralized reputation systems. Its core components include Aspecta ID, an AI-driven trust protocol that aggregates data from various sources like GitHub and on-chain activities to generate verifiable credit scores and "identity tags." BuildKey facilitates the trading of tokenized claims for illiquid assets via bonding curves, promoting fair price discovery. Build Attestation utilizes AI and zero-knowledge proofs to verify user activity, converting work history into immutable on-chain reputation scores.

The ASP token is the native cryptocurrency of Aspecta, with a total supply of 1 billion and an initial circulating supply of 230 million. Its utility includes governance, allowing holders to vote on protocol upgrades. Staking ASP enhances reputation scores, grants access to BuildKey launches, and unlocks premium features. ASP also serves as an incentive and reward mechanism for ecosystem participation and contributions, and is used for transaction fees, credential verification, and supporting overall ecosystem development and community building. It is available on BNB Chain and Solana.

Aspecta was founded in 2022 by a team possessing diverse expertise in blockchain, cybersecurity, and data science. The founding members originate from prestigious academic institutions such as Yale, Tsinghua University, and UC Berkeley. The project was incubated at Yale University's Tsai CITY Innovation Center, highlighting a strong academic and innovation-focused foundation. Aspecta has successfully secured multi-million dollar seed funding from reputable venture capital firms, further validating the team's vision and potential.

Aspecta marked significant progress with its Token Generation Event (TGE) for the ASP token in July 2025. This was followed by substantial activity around its BuildKey feature, including a dedicated BuildKey TGE event in September 2025.
