Once you have GHST, connect your digital wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to the official Aavegotchi website to start your journey in the Gotchiverse.
There are primarily two ways to obtain an Aavegotchi NFT. You can purchase a Portal, either during a time-limited "Haunt" auction or from the secondary marketplace (Baazaar). Once opened, a Portal presents 10 Aavegotchis with different traits, from which you can summon one by staking the required Spirit Force (aTokens). Alternatively, you can directly buy an already summoned Aavegotchi or an unopened Portal from the Aavegotchi Baazaar, the project's dedicated NFT marketplace.
Aavegotchi offers several play-to-earn opportunities. Players can engage in Rarity Farming, where they are rewarded with GHST tokens based on their Aavegotchis' rarity, experience, and kinship. In the Gotchiverse, you can earn ERC-20 tokens called Gotchus Alchemica by channeling, farming from land parcels, or collecting them, which can then be crafted or traded for GHST.
