Aave MANA, also known as 'amana', is an interest-bearing token specifically designed for the Aave protocol. It maintains a 1:1 peg to the underlying Decentraland (MANA) token. When users deposit MANA into the Aave protocol, amana is minted. Conversely, when users redeem their deposited MANA, the corresponding amana is burned. This mechanism enables MANA holders to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) activities while their asset remains connected to the metaverse economy.

Aave MANA's primary use cases involve enhancing the financialization of virtual assets within the metaverse, particularly for Decentraland's MANA token.
